Dr. Alex Lechtman
Medical Director & Plastic/Reconstructive Surgeon
Our expert plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Alex Lechtman, is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is backed by several honors and awards. After graduating from UC San Diego Medical School in 1991 and completing general and plastic surgery residencies at UC Davis Medical Center, he has cultivated a prolific career in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He’s been awarded Outstanding Chief Resident, the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation Scholarship Award, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society Outstanding Teacher award, among others.
Jennifer Tougas-Genova
Founder & Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer Tougas-Genova is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Dermatology. She is the only ALLERGAN national speaker and trainer in Kern County. She brings 19 years of experience as a licensed medical provider. Voted your Favorite in 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 Best Aesthetic Provider, she offers the best care to every patient through integrated clinical practice and education. Originally from Massachusetts, Jennifer was recruited to Bakersfield sixteen years ago as a travel critical care registered nurse. She obtained her graduate degree as a nurse practitioner in Pasadena, CA. Over the last ten years, Jennifer has specialized in medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. Though she loves all three, aesthetics is her passion. Jennifer also enjoys volunteering in her local community with her spare time. She is a board member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Miss Kern County Pageant, and a member of the Executives Association of Kern County. She founded the Jamison Center Christmas Collection ten years ago and is passionate about child welfare in Kern County, as her first career was in child welfare and protection as a licensed social worker.
Moriah Henning
Back Office Practice Manager & Medical Assistant
Moriah is our office manager who specializes in Aesthetic Services. Her career began a decade ago as a certified medical assistant in Dermatology. Moriah continues to assist in dermatology procedures such as surgical excisions, skin biopsies, and phlebotomy and trains new medical assistants in our dermatology specialty. Moriah has earned certifications and specializes in Microneedling, Diamond Glow, Vampire Facials, Teeth Whitening, Lash Lift, Radio-Frequency Services, and more. Moriah hopes to continue her aesthetic cosmetics education to expand her services to clients.
Elsie Lupercio
Front Office Practice Manager
Elsie Lupercio began her career in the aesthetic and medical field as a receptionist over seven years ago and has been mesmerized by the atmosphere ever since. In that time, she has earned certifications in lash lifting, spray tanning, teeth whitening, and evolve services. While finding her passion in helping patients feel beautiful and confident, Elsie dedicates time volunteering at events all around the community as Mrs. Kern County 2023 with the Miss Kern County Pageant, whose mission is to encourage and elevate women through personal growth by furthering the education of women in the community. At Elite Aesthetics and Dermatology, Elsie is devoted to ensuring patients feel serene and at home when they arrive for their appointment and throughout every visit.
Jessica McWilliams
Nurse Practitioner
Jessica is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a strong passion for aesthetics and dermatology. She brings more than nine years of combined medical experience to the team. She has been an aesthetic injector for over five years and continues to expand her knowledge and skills. Her passion for dermatology stems from her experience battling cystic acne as a teenager. Her focus is to ensure personalized patient care while yielding natural results. In her free time, Jessica enjoys being with her husband, two children, and four dogs.
Rebecca Delatorre
Nurse Practitioner
Rebecca Delatorre is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology, medical, cosmetics, and aesthetics. She brings over 15 years of combined clinical experience, with the last three primarily focused in dermatology. Rebecca has a keen aesthetic eye and provides personalized care to achieve more natural results. She has a strong passion for skin care, stemming from seeing her children battle skin conditions, including severe cystic acne, acne scarring, seborrheic, and atopic dermatitis. She loves helping patients obtain positive, life-changing, and confidence-boosting results. She considers working in dermatology as her 'dream job.' Rebecca is a mom of three boys and three girls outside of work and is very dedicated to spending time with her family.
Devany Huff
Registered Nurse
Devany Huff is a registered nurse who specializes in aesthetic nursing. She was raised in Bakersfield and obtained her registered nursing degree from Bakersfield College. Her nursing career began seven years ago in oncology. During the four years she spent working in oncology, Devany received the Dignity Health Human Kindness Steward Award for her dedication to patients and coworkers – the highest Dignity Health award. She saw the importance of dermatology and started working for a local dermatologist. After finding her passion in aesthetics, she has worked in it for four years. Devany strives to give the highest standard of patient care, and she has made it her priority to make her patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and beautiful.
Kelliane O’Neill
Registered Nurse
Kelliane O’Neill is a registered nurse specializing in critical care and cosmetic nursing. Her nursing career began as a licensed vocational nurse in the United States Army. She has 17 years of experience in the nursing field and has been a registered nurse for 12 years. She is currently working towards obtaining her Doctorate in Nursing from Capella University. Originally from Valencia, she moved to Bakersfield in 2011 for a position in the intensive care unit at Mercy Hospital, and she currently works as the ICU Director. She has also worked in Aesthetic Nursing for over six years and has found a passion for the field.
Kristin Dobbs
Medical Assistant
Kristin comes to us with an abundance of knowledge and management experience with a background in front office, back office, and scribe work. She has been in the medical and aesthetics field for 6 years and strives every single day to give the best care possible for our patients. When she is not at work she really enjoys traveling around the world and trying new foods with her husband.
Maxine Ronase

Maxine is currently pursuing her education at Bakersfield College, where she is dedicated to becoming a Registered Nurse. With a strong interest in aesthetics and dermatology, she is eager to deepen her understanding of the field to provide patients with the highest quality care and support. Her goal is to combine her knowledge of nursing with her passion for skin health, ensuring that each patient feels both well-cared for and confident in their skin. Outside of her studies, Maxine finds joy in exploring the beauty of nature and cherishing moments with her family and friends.
Karen Slack
Billing Specialist
Karen Slack brings over two decades of healthcare experience to Elite Aesthetics and Dermatology, with a strong background in medical billing, patient registration, insurance verification, and outpatient coding. Her career began in Phoenix, Arizona, where she worked across several major healthcare systems including St. Joseph’s Hospital (now Dignity Health), Banner Health, and Phoenix Children’s Hospital. She specialized in Hematology/Oncology, Pediatrics, Pediatric ICU, and Labor & Delivery as a Certified Health Unit Coordinator (C.H.U.C.). After relocating to California, Karen continued to advance her career with roles at Glendale Memorial Hospital, Mercy Southwest, and Adventist Health (formerly San Joaquin Hospital). Her versatility and dedication led her to work across various departments including Emergency Room registration, financial services, and outpatient billing. In 2023, Karen joined Elite Aesthetics and Dermatology, bringing her years of expertise and passion for patient care to the aesthetics field. She describes the opportunity as "the best door I have walked through in Bakersfield." Outside of work, Karen enjoys crafting and spending time with her three children. A California native, she has a lifelong love of animals, especially cats, and dreams of one day owning a serval. She also holds a deep admiration for classic Hollywood, particularly Audrey Hepburn, whose grace and elegance in Breakfast at Tiffany’s continue to inspire her.
Amanda Steitz
Human Resource Representative
Amanda and her HR team at Empire Management Group provide Human Resource (HR) services for the team at Elite Aesthetics. Amanda has over 15 years of experience in HR. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s in Business Management in 2009, and a Master’s in Business Administration in 2011. Amanda gained her PHRca certification (The Professional in Human Resources- California) from HRCI in October 2020. Amanda is also a member of the 2022 Leadership Bakersfield graduating class. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling with her family, running, and volunteering in the community.
